SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS I serviced one of Melbourne’s leading grammar schools for 20 years organizing cricket and tennis tours for the students to the wonderful public schools in UK and America. My husband David and I take a group once a year to the Battlefields of Vietnam, first to the South for 7 nights which includes a 4 hour trek of the Long Tan battlefield of which he has personal experience, being a Platoon Commander at that Battle, followed by an 12 night tour of the areas North which saw action by the Americans and French, including Dien Bien Phu. BACKGROUND and INDUSTRY RECOGNITION AND AWARDS After my education I departed for England as a 20 year old where I worked in the travel industry in London and then travelled extensively throughout Europe before returning to Australia. On return I worked in various roles including P & O, Bank of New South Wales Travel and then Westpac Travel in head office plus several city branches, ultimately managing 150 Queen Street for some years. After 16 years in retail travel with Westpac I opened my own business and ran that for 15 years concentrating on shipping and international travel. I have been a CLIA Master Cruise Consultant since 1999. I have a number of industry recognitions including Winner of P & O Princess Premier Cruise/Tours Product which recognised outstanding support including Alaska and the Mediterranean, Insight Tours, and others.
